Art Exhibits
On Saturday, April 26th, The Luminary | Center for the Arts will be hosting the opening reception for its first art exhibit of 2008 entitled "Refuse" in partnership with the local homelessness empowerment magazine "What's Up."
The artwork will focus on the theme of value in our society, as seen in photography, collage, and mixed-media work, as well as an afternoon speaker’s series by individuals experiencing homelessness. We will also host several musical performances by local and regional acts. The opening reception lasts from 2-10 pm and the exhibit can be viewed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays throughout May.
