Family
My incredible husband, Todd, our baby girl Lucy Elizabeth born November 22, 2007, and our four legged "daughter" Graci; a yellow lab. The majority of our family lives either in Ohio or New Jersey.
What The Journey Has Meant To Me
Having relocated from the east coast to St. Louis, The Journey has meant family to us. It has stimulated a lot of growth, both individually and as a married couple. The Journey has truly redefined the way we view ourselves, our community, and our lives.

What You Enjoy
God's presence when I can really feel it; being with my husband Todd; being a mom; kissing Lucy's cheeks; running; cooking; creating...anything; playing with our dog Graci; hiking; traveling (anywhere); London; refinishing furniture; Dove Dark Chocolate; pesto; homegrown tomatos; the smell of honeysuckle; enchiladas; peanut butter; finishing a 13.1 mile run; laughing with girlfriends.
Where You Grew Up And What You Did As A Kid
I grew up in northern Ohio, in the tiny town of Poland. As a kid I was a tomboy. I loved to climb trees, play soccer, organize my matchbox cars (yes even at a young age I organized). I had some girlie qualities; I loved My Little Pony and Care Bears! However, even my parents thought I was a boy when they dressed me in gold buttoned navy blue blazers. I adored Punky Bruster; Adventures in Baby Sitting; reading the Babysitters Club and our annual trip to Cedar Point.
Hope For The Journey
That even as the size grows; we would continue to have authentic community. My hope is also that our members would be on mission to really break the invisible socio and economical boundaries that plague our society.
Yada, Yada, Yada
I am a pop-culture idiot; however, I do know Seinfeld. In the interest of a good laugh though–I was a Punky Brewster fan. I wore purple leg warmers, three watches, bandanas tied around my peg-legged jeans, at least two pair of socks, and had "sunshine" pony tail holders. Oddly enough, my first job at 16 was "Lisa Leaps" at an indoor kid's play-place called Leaps & Bounds. My job was to wear a purple jumper, bound around and entertain children for their birthdays. I admit, I loved it!
