Baptism Informational Forums

In preparation for each Baptism Celebration Service, the Journey conducts classes called Baptism Informational Forums. These forums are a simple class that takes approximately 45 minutes.  Attendance at one Baptism Informational Forum is a requirement to be baptized at The Journey. 

The forums teach about the purpose and symbolism of baptism. They also help to reinforce a person's understanding of the Gospel message. At the conclusion of the forums, those wishing to be baptized are placed into the process to be baptized at the next Baptism Celebration
Service.

The next round of Baptism Informational Forums has not been scheduled.  These will probably occur mid-summer.  Watch the service bulletins for an announcement.

More information:

  • No RSVP is required to attend one of the forums. Come on out!
  • Those who are simply curious to learn more about baptism are welcome to attend. Intent to be baptized is not a requirement for attendance at the forum.
