On Good Friday, Christians from all over the globe gather to reflect on and remember the death of Christ. I have noticed how easy it is to read the Bible and forget how brutal the death of Christ actually was.
Movies like the Passion of the Christ give us a glimpse of the pain that the Savior bore on our behalf. But, perhaps the most disturbing and descriptive account of this death was published over twenty years ago in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
