Journey Kids

Journey Kids City Launched! (view pictures of this event)

We desire our children to know and to love their Creator, to feel a part of our community, and to grow up with a desire to transform the world.

We believe that the primary responsibility for spiritual nurturing falls with the parents, before any other institution. According to the Bible, we as parents are to teach our children about the Lord and his commandments at all times.
(Deuteronomy 4:9, 6:7, & 11:19; Psalm 78:1-8; Ephesians 6:1-4)

Our desire is to create an environment where we honor the parents and their teachings about God.

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. –Proverbs 22:6

We believe that the Lord has blessed children with the ability to possess a teachable heart and a desire to know him at an early age.
(Matthew 19:13-14, 18:1-9; Luke 10:21; Proverbs 22:6)

Our services are offered for children from newborn through grade 6. We use a curriculum that not only teaches the children about who God is and his love for them, but his character and that of those who serve him as well. Our curriculum, provided by Faith Weavers, takes children through the basic Bible themes in a way that is interactive, creative, and meaningful. Through singing worshipful songs, Bible study, and arts and crafts, our children learn about God while finding their place in community.
