Overseeing leadership teams to make the Sunday services happen. I also focus on shepherding and developing Journey leaders as well as preparing aspiring church planters for their callings to mission.

Family
Erica, my beautiful wife of 7 years, is my best-friend and partner in life and in ministry; and our 2-year old little boy Alex.

What The Journey Has Meant to Me
The Journey has been a place of welcome and healing in hearing and seeing the Gospel proclaimed.  It has also been a place of challenge as we are lovingly confronted with Jesus' call to "follow him" in every facet of our life.

What I Enjoy
Wrestling with my boy. Wrestling with my wife...and dates...and walks...and our life together. Going 50+mph downhill on a bicycle. The Mountains. Good Coffee. Naps. Reading. Thinking. Fighting Illini basketball, and after this season- football! Autumn, and every detail about it. Building anything. Tackling. Loving. Being known.

Where I Grew Up and What I Did As A Kid
I grew up in Champaign, IL.  My friends and I did what any boys who had access to a backyard creek, loved sports, fighting, guns, forts, small explosive devices, getting dirty... would do: we got hurt, muddy, and stirred up trouble.  I also loved to read, sing, and ride my bike as far and as fast as I could.
