Gospel-Centered Grief

Have you experienced the loss of a loved one, relationship, or a dream?  Has this loss made you feel crippled from living the life God wants you to live?  Don't go through this struggle alone.  The Journey has a group available that will allow you to connect with others who are struggling with loss, and will allow you to discover how to find great joy as you walk through your grief.

 What are the goals of this group?

1. Provide social support for those who are hurting over a loss                                                    

2. To explore the connection between the gospel and grief                                                         

3. Allow members to enter into their grief, and to grieve in a way that encourages them to grow in their relationship with God and with others                                                                                

4. Explore and struggle through the issue of pain and suffering                                                   

5. Look at the ways that we have responded to our pain and seek to understand how we can take our pain and use it in a way that leads us to spiritual and emotional maturity

Group Information

Mondays, 7:30-9 PM at Hanley Road Baptist Church, 3rd Floor                                                                         

Cost:  $13.00 to cover the cost of the book

The group will last for 10 weeks and will be a closed group meeting. Once group sessions have started, we will not take additional group members. We will begin on March 10th. For more information email Rick Moll at .
