Internships

The Journey Internship Program exists to holistically develop interns by equipping them to be leaders in the local church.  Interns receive practical ministry experience leading and serving in various ministries at The Journey.  They are mentored and empowered to lead in the church as they process whether or not God has called them to full-time ministry either here at The Journey or elsewhere in the world.  They also receive valuable teaching in essential subjects for leadership in the local church.  Our Intern Director guides them as they confront the logistical and personal challenges of a ministry internship.  The Internship Program helps The Journey accomplish our ministry as a local church and also serves as an avenue to assess, develop and prepare future leaders of The Journey and the Church universal.  It is our desire not to just "use" interns to get ministry done, but to "use" ministry to get interns done.  Therefore, The Journey defines a successful internship as one that will be used by God to accomplish both ministry through the intern, and greater maturity in the intern.
