So, Tell Me...

  • What was your most memorable travel experience? My most memorable travel experience is when my brother Ryan and I went to the UK to visit my buddy Brad who was studying in Oxford for a semester. After a couple of incredible days in Oxford and London, we decided to visit another European country for a day to round-out the trip. We settled on Italy, specifically Venice. What didn't occur to us at the time was that between the three of us, we could communicate in English, Spanish, French, German and Greek, but we chose the one country in Western Europe (Scandinavia notwithstanding) where we only knew how to say "yes," "no," and "where's the bathroom." So we landed in Italy and began trying to figure out how to get by. We ended up getting to see the beauty of the island (and smell its peculiar musk...), but spent much time lost and in need of some directions.
